Kick-off meeting REM

The opening meeting of the REM project co-funded by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel was held on 30-31.03.2023.

The meeting was attended by representatives centres from Poland, Romania and Spain. Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa was represented by representatives of Methane Drainage and Management Office and KWK "Pniówek", where the project will be implemented. The first day was devoted to formal issues, while the next day was devoted to a site inspection at KWK “Pniówek”, where the participants familiarised themselves with the specifics of methane drainage station operation. The online meeting was attended by a representative of the EC - Project Officer on behalf of the REA, Michael Laubenheimer.
