June 6, 2020 – Commissioning of three cogeneration units in “Knurów-Szczygłowice” mine Ruch “Knurów” with total capacity of 12 MWel (3 x 4,0 MWel). This installation will be able to produce approximately 90,000 MWh of electricity annually, while utilizing around 22,7 mln m3 of methane which gives approximately 0,46 million Mg CO2e. This will directly reduce greenhouse emission as well as bring significant economic effects.
