CMM Energy ICE

The highest energy production in the history of the Budryk mine.

In November, a historic record for electricity production was broken in the Budryk mine. 2x4 MW + 2 MW cogeneration systems produced a total of 6 957,3 MWh within a month. The production record to date was set in May 2019 and amounted to 5 606 MWh. In addition, the cogeneration systems of the ZPC Żory company, which are located on the premises of KWK Budryk, produced 4960,5 MWh in November.

For the first time in history, the mine made 10,2 MWh of electricity available to other mines of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A.

The share of electricity generated from gas from mine methane drainage in relation to the total consumption was 62.9%. The average monthly downtime for cogeneration systems was 26 hours. Three stoppages were related to technological inspections of methane drainage stations, and four stoppages were related to ongoing maintenance.

In November savings were around 2 mln PLN thanks to the higher production of cogeneration systems in Budryk mine (instead of purchasing electricity from external supplier).
