The conference began with a jubilee session on the XXX anniversary of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa and the GZN conference. JSW was strongly represented at all thematic sessions on its round anniversary. Traditionally, there was also a session of the Centre of Excellence for Coal Mine Methane, where speeches were delivered by representatives of the Methane Drainage and Management Office, speaking about the future, development and innovation in methane drainage in Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa mines and about the challenges of the implemented Methane Emission Reduction Programme.
