On September 27-29, the XXX edition of the School of Underground Exploitation took place. All the largest coal companies and companies cooperating with the mining industry took part in the conference. During the three days of School, over 20 thematic sessions were held, in which the employees of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa actively participated.
The session on methane in the context of the transformation of the coal sector enjoyed the greatest interest. One of the most important points of the panel was the speech of Artur Badylak, director of the Methane Drainage and Energy Media Management Office. During the presentation, the director presented not only the ongoing investments related to the reduction of methane emissions to the atmosphere, but above all, JSW S.A.'s future ambitious plans.
